RESULTS OF THE STUDY CONDUCTED BY JAPET ON THE IMPACT OF THE EXOSKELETON ON MUSCLE ACTIVITY DURING LOAD CARRYING

Context


The objective of this study* is to analyze the impact of the Japet.W exoskeleton on the muscles of the abdomino-lumbar belt.

Method


Electromyograms were placed on the abdominal muscles, external obliques, and lumbar muscles to measure muscle activity of the abdomino-lumbar belt. Participants simulated handling movements with and without the Japet.W exoskeleton.

Result


This study concludes that the muscle activity in the abdomino-lumbar area is maintained while wearing the Japet.W exoskeleton.
