Opportunity: HSE Manager – Heavy Industry

Our client, a major industrial player, is recruiting an HSE Manager capable of taking on a strategic challenge: strengthening the safety culture and, in the short term, assuming the role of HSE Director at a large-scale production site.

Your mission

In a demanding and evolving environment, you will be responsible for:

• Deploying, managing, and sustaining the site’s HSE policy;

• Conducting risk analyses, audits, and corrective action plans;

• Supporting management and teams in implementing best HSE practices;

• Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance;

• Leading awareness campaigns, training, and HSE communication;

• Gradually taking overall responsibility for the HSE department and its management.

Profile sought

• Master’s degree (preferably engineering), with technical or safety focus (essential);

• Certified Level 1 Prevention Advisor in Belgium;

• Minimum 5 years of HSE management experience in a complex industrial environment;

• Recognized leadership and ability to interact at a high level with authorities and management;

• Excellent command of the Belgian legal framework;

• Fluent in French – knowledge of Dutch and/or English is an asset.
